A recent news report caught my eye because the British are actually admitting, at long last, that mothers who abort their children suffer tragic consequences including many who take their lives.
It seems that a debate in the House of Commons resulted in a press conference during which Dr. Robert Balfour cited a study of 5,000 women in Finland between 1987 and 2000, which found those who had an abortion were six times more likely to commit suicide than those who had given birth in the past year.
In addition Dr. Balfour told the press that statistics from his home area of south Wales suggested that there were more psychiatric admissions and suicides among women who had abortions than those who gave birth.
One has to wonder why the American media continues to be so very silent on the tragic results that frequently result when mothers choose death for their preborn chidlren.
