Here are the highlights from CLSP at the March for Life last week!
Last Friday, we were honored to participate in the March for Life Expo! We met with thousands of excited pro-life teens, parents, teachers, and chaperones.
At the March for Life Expo booth, CLSP displayed our dropcards with facts about Margaret Sanger. We encouraged those who stopped by to read the cards and learn. After students read them, we instructed them to write a word or phrase that they thought described Margaret Sanger.
After just a few minutes of discussion, the teens left our table with a better understanding of why we need to know the real Margaret Sanger.
In addition, the impact of CLSP went beyond the March for Life. On the way to the Washington, D.C. and San Francisco marches, over 14,000 people had the opportunity to watch our video Who Was the Real Margaret Sanger? and engage in discussion.
At the March for Life Expo, CLSP hosted several showings of the video. These showings were attended by over 100 eager pro-lifers who wanted to learn more about the infamous Margaret Sanger and who can now share these truths with others.
One highlight of the Expo was the opportunity for Laura and Mary to speak to a hundred teens from the Diocese of Ogdensburg, New York. These teens had just finished watching Who Was the Real Margaret Sanger? on their way to the March. Laura and Mary showed the students ways in which they can continue to build a culture of life when they return home from the March.
The energy and passion of these youth is what will transform the pro-life movement and bring an end to abortion in our country!
